A concrete technology for a more sustainable industry

Master Builders Solutions and Omya joined forces to develop more sustainable, high-end concrete and mortars, addressing the considerable challenge of high carbon emissions during cement production, estimated at 8% of global anthropogenic CO₂ emissions by the International Energy Association (IEA).

Thanks to its high stability and good aesthetic properties, this solution paves the way for a future of more sustainable construction by allowing a remarkable reduction in CO₂ emissions.

This innovative solution is the result of the collaboration between MasterCO₂re, a new Superplasticizer from Master Builders Solutions based on the Intelligent Cluster System (ICS) Technology, and Betocarb mineral additives, Omya's innovation dedicated to the world of concrete.

Mineral additions are the easiest, most cost-effective way to lower the environmental impact of cement-based materials like concrete and can help with lowering the water content, too.
